London was our last stop on this trip. Although it was a mere 3 days in the city, I had a great time. We visited Chinatown, Westminster Abbey and saw The Lion King. I just say I liked The Lion King better in Los Angeles though.
We did go to a fabulous restaurant called Bibendum and the food was just incredible with prices to match! Luckily I wasn't paying as the prices were the highest I've ever seen anywhere, even compared to Tokyo. Like I said though, the food was fantastic and I would definitely go there again if someone was paying! The flower stalls in London were as beautiful as anywhere in Paris. What is it about flower stalls I love so much?
This was the first time my mother had Indian food. She didn't care for it so much. The thing she loved about Indian food the most was the Naan bread. I've always loved Indian food so it was great. The restaurant was beautiful as well, making the whole experience enjoyable. We visited during lunch and would like to go again for dinner when the menu is more varied. We stayed at a truly fantastic hotel called the Covent Garden Hotel. Yes it was rather pricy but again, we weren't paying so hey, what the heck. Thanks Mr, H,,,I do appreciate it with all my heart and I hope you know that. Every evening, there was a fresh bottle of mineral water, an apple and a box of chocolates.
